Was recently tagged by @beautyfoster of a sketch I did of her 2014. I photographed Amanda during a trip to New York and used those photos as inspiration for many years (these pieces are from 2014-15). Seeing the sketch also made me reminisce to my years living in San Francisco, where I’d paint and draw everyday, and go to gallery openings almost every weekend. It feels like a lifetime ago, so much has changed since those days. Even though I don’t paint as much as I used to, art is still a huge part of my life and I’m so grateful I spent many years refining my visual art skills, and I still sketch all the time.
